Last Updated:10/13/2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services, website, and communications provided by Planners Insurance Group LLC ("Planners Insurance Group," "the Agency," "we," "us," or "our"). By requesting a quote, purchasing a policy through us, using our website, or otherwise engaging our services, you ("you," "your," or "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms are in addition to, and do not replace, the terms of any insurance policy you purchase. If these Terms conflict with your policy, the policy controls as to coverage.
2. Our Role and Services
Licensing. Planners Insurance Group LLC is a licensed insurance agency in the State of Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, & Virginia, and may hold licenses in other states. Licensing information is available on request or through the applicable State Department of Insurance.
Agency relationship. We act as an insurance agent and/or broker. We help you identify, compare, and apply for insurance products offered by insurance carriers we are appointed with. We are not an insurance company. Policies are issued, underwritten, and serviced for claims by the insurance carrier, not by the Agency.
Services we may provide:
• Insurance consultations and needs reviews
• Quotes and comparisons from one or more carriers
• Help with applications, renewals, and policy changes
• General service support, such as certificates, ID cards, and billing questions
• Help directing you to the carrier for claims
No guarantee of coverage. Submitting an application or receiving a quote does not mean coverage is in force. All coverage is subject to the carrier's underwriting, approval, and the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of the issued policy. We cannot guarantee that any carrier will accept an application, renew a policy, or pay a claim.
Advice limits. Our recommendations are based on the information you give us. We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional on those matters.
3. Client Responsibilities
Accurate information. You agree to give complete, accurate, and truthful information in every application, quote request, and communication. Misstatements or omissions may lead a carrier to deny a claim, cancel or rescind a policy, or change your premium. Knowingly, giving false information to obtain insurance may be a crime under state law.
Updates. You agree to tell us promptly about changes that may affect your coverage. Examples include a new address, vehicle, driver, property, business operation, or change in exposure.
Review your policy. You are responsible for reading your policy documents when you receive them. Contact us right away if anything is incorrect or does not match what you requested. Coverage is defined only by the policy issued by the carrier.
Premium payments. Premiums are paid under the carrier's billing terms, whether paid directly to the carrier or through the Agency. You are responsible for paying on time. Non-payment may cause your policy to lapse or be cancelled. The Agency is not responsible for a lapse caused by late or missed payments.
Claims. Claims must be reported to the carrier as required by your policy. We may help you start a claim, but the carrier alone decides whether a claim is covered and how much is paid.
4. Quotes, Binding, Cancellation, and Compensation
Quotes. Quotes are estimates based on the information provided and the carrier rates at the time. They are not offers of coverage. Final premiums may change after underwriting review, verification of information, or rate changes.
Binding coverage. Coverage is not in effect until it is bound by the carrier or by the Agency under authority granted by the carrier, and you receive written confirmation. Do not cancel existing coverage until you have confirmation that new coverage is in force.
Cancellations and refunds. Policy cancellations and any premium refunds follow the carrier's policy terms and applicable state law. Requests to cancel should be made in writing. The Agency does not control carrier refund amounts or timing.
Agency fees. Where permitted by law, the Agency may charge service or broker fees. Any fee will be disclosed to you in writing before you agree to it. Unless the written disclosure says otherwise, agency fees are [non-refundable / refundable as stated in the fee agreement].
Compensation disclosure. The Agency is usually paid a commission by the carrier when a policy is sold or renewed. We may also receive contingent or bonus compensation from carriers based on factors such as volume, growth, or loss experience. You may ask us for more information about how we are paid.
Website use. You may use our website for lawful personal, or business purposes related to insurance. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit false information. Website content, logos, and materials belong to the Agency or its licensors and may not be copied without permission. Website content is for general information only and is not a binding offer or a description of any specific policy.
5. Privacy, Communications, Disclaimers, and Liability

We share it with carriers, service providers, and others only as needed to provide our services or as required by law. Consent to communications. By giving us your contact details, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, text message, or mail about your quotes, policies, renewals, and service. Where required by law, we will get your separate consent before sending marketing texts or using automated calling.
